> Newton’s first law states that an object remains at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force.

Can you explain this with one real-life example?

Newton’s First Law says that an object will stay at rest or continue to move in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force.

Example: When a car suddenly stops, the passengers inside keep moving forward because their body wants to continue in motion. The seat belt applies an external force that stops them — this shows Newton’s First Law of Motion.
